Parker Again Named One of Washington’s 100 Best Companies, Takes 2nd Place in “Small” Category

On June 22nd, Parker joined Seattle Business Magazine – and 99 other local organizations – at the Washington State Convention Center to celebrate making the list as one of Washington’s 100 Best Companies to Work For. This was the second year in a row that Seattle-based Parker Staffing Services, who in 2016 was named one of the best Temp Agencies to work for by the American Staffing Association, was awarded this honor. This year, we are proud to report we took 2nd Place in our category – up four spots from just one year ago!

What makes Parker a Best Company in Washington?

When revealing why she nominated Parker in the first place, our Marketing Specialist, Gia, said it came down to the people and a comfortable culture:

“I could rave about our annual kickoff parties, summer picnics, or holiday cookie baking get-togethers. I could tell you about our Secret Santa gift exchanges, monthly team breakfasts, and regularly scheduled happy hours. While these things are opportunities where I have built (and will continue to build) some of my fondest memories at Parker, I think there is more to a culture than big parties, free meals, and cold drinks in the fridge. It’s the people, and Parker employs smart, thoughtful people. For being an established, 37-year-old company, we foster a very nimble, flat ‘startup’ style environment that keeps people engaged and fosters evolution and development.
