We’re kicking off our own celebration of the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) National Staffing Employee Week with some BIG news! Former Parker contractor, Jonathan Morales, has won the ASA’s National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Star award in their Office-Clerical and Administrative Sector for his work with Parker’s On-site team at Nintendo of America!
Jonathan has always been a diehard fan of all things Nintendo, which is why he was quickly interested in a bilingual customer service role at Nintendo’s campus in Redmond. However, when Jonathan interviewed, there were no bilingual Consumer Service Representative (CSR) positions open. Jonathan worked with former Nintendo Program Manager (now a Parker Vice President), Zoe Stamolis, to discuss his options. Zoe encouraged him to accept an English-only role, and Jonathan agreed, knowing it could open doors for him as he worked toward his dream job at Nintendo.
It certainly did open doors, as later a permanent bilingual position became available. After Jonathan applied, he was hired as a Team Support Advisor in Nintendo’s contact center, making the jump from Parker’s Nintendo Associate to full-time Nintendo employee in November 2014. His hard work, perseverance and dedication to his goals helped him get where he is today, making him the perfect recipient for this award.
Jonathan is one of five professionals nationally recognized by the ASA, and everyone at Parker could not be proud and more excited for him! Congratulations, Jonathan!
