About the Position

The Business Development Manager (BDM) within the Healthcare Information Technology (HIT) line of business will be responsible for establishing and managing a geographical territory and client base of hospitals that utilize Parker's technical talent for EMR implementations on a contractor and/or permanent, full-time placement basis. Reporting to the Parker President/CEO, the BDM will seek business opportunities, utilizing leads from internal staff, maximizing research databases to which Parker subscribes, participate in networking opportunities, and use other tools as required.

The successful candidate will spend a large portion of their time building a target universe by making phone calls, sending emails, and setting conference call meetings with C-level and other decision makers within the Clinical Information System (CIS) business units, implementation teams, PMOs, and core technology departments of those targets. BDMs are responsible for reaching specific call targets, attendance at industry networking and educational events, and generation of new job orders for contract and permanent placement needs.

The BDM is also responsible for ongoing management of the client relationship, client satisfaction, problem resolution, and maximum client and business opportunity penetration. Occasionally, accounts may be assigned at the discretion of the President/CEO. Professional communication, problem solving, business updates, and strategic thinking are a team expectation.

Position accountabilities include: meeting goals for new job orders generated, net contract and direct hire placements monthly, and revenue and gross profit generated on a monthly basis. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing strategies and tactics necessary to maximize Parker HealthcareIT’s value in targeted segments of the national market.

Requirements
We require previous experience in the HIT staffing industry with an emphasis on EMR implementations. Creating job orders and selling talent to key employees at hospitals is a must. Three to five years proven success is also required.
