| What kind of companies do you work with? |
We work with a variety of companies in many industries, and we’ve included a representative list of clients here. If you’re interested in a particular company or industry, please convey this to your recruiter during your interview. |
| How do I find out about specific jobs you have available? |
Use our online job search to see what’s available, then let us know if you find something that interests you. In addition, our recruiters are always on the lookout for jobs that will fit our associates’ needs, and they’ll contact you directly when they see a match. If you haven’t worked for us before, here’s how to get connected. |
| When I accept a job through Parker Staffing, who am I working for? |
When you accept temporary work through Parker Staffing, we are your employer. We are responsible for paying the employer portion of your payroll taxes and the mandatory insurance. For information about what we offer associates, click here. |
| I know you do temporary placement, but I’m interested in a permanent job. Can Parker Staffing help with that? |
Yes, we have recruiters who specialize in direct hire placement. Please contact Courtney O’Brien-McFarland at courtneyo@parkerservices.com or Erin Hayden at erinh@parkerservices.com. Both recruiters can be reached at (206) 447-9447. |
| I’m interested in working for you. What do I do? |
The first step is getting connected with us to start the application process.
- EITHER find a job you’re interested in and submit your resume to the e-mail address provided.
- OR register online to create a MyParker account where you also submit your resume and give us additional information about your background, interests, and more.
| A recruiter will review your information and respond within two business days. If we expect to have positions that will complement your skill set, we’ll ask you to come in for an in-person interview. |
| What happens during the interview at the Parker offices? |
| Prior to the interview we’ll ask you to complete some online skills assessments to help us pinpoint your level of expertise in several areas such as specific software programs, typing, grammar, and vocabulary. These skills assessments are web-based so you can take them at home or wherever else is convenient. |
| During the interview we will take the time to get personally acquainted with you, so that we can be sure to place you in a job you will like. |
| After the interview, if we anticipate having jobs that will fit your skills, we’ll ask you to fill out some forms. These include tax forms and authorizations for a background check and reference check. Once we have completed this new-hire process, you’re eligible to accept jobs at any of our client companies. |
