Business Development Manager Danielle Davis heard of the experience The Hotel Group was having and contacted them. After a short phone conversation she set up an in-person meeting with key decision makers at The Hotel Group to discuss their current staffing needs and get to know the company’s industry and culture. The next step after this initial meeting was for Parker’s Direct Hire Recruiter Jennifer Dupper and Sara Michener, Executive Assistant to the President of the Hotel Group, to meet to identify not only the technical and functional requirements for the position, but also the type of personality and work ethic that would help The Hotel Group thrive.
As the candidate search and recruitment process progressed Jennifer kept in constant communication with Isabel Dreher, Director of Recruitment and Training at The Hotel Group, and other key people that would be affected by the new staff member. This continual correspondence allowed rapid review of the candidate pool and provided Jennifer with vital feedback. This constant dialogue with the client is vital in the direct hire candidate search process. Through it Parker’s recruiters continually learn about the client company and its people, allowing for a more focused candidate search.
In this case, it allowed Jennifer to present only candidates with both the right skills and the right personality to fit with the position and the people. The candidate ultimately selected had multiple offers for employment, but the match with The Hotel Group made their offer the clear choice.
This initial interaction was so successful The Hotel Group has enlisted Parker Staffing to fill several other positions within the company including Purchasing Agent, Assistant to the President, and Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer. Through an on-going process of communication and feedback, both companies look forward to a long, mutually beneficial relationship.
